  • Provide clinical documentation in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Provide cross-coverage, when called upon, for other units and services requiring psychiatric care services, as determined by the Medical Director.
  • Participate in on-call coverage rotation for the 24-hour programs as determined by the Medical Provider Team. This coverage typically runs from 1700 to 0800 on weekdays, as well as 24/7 coverage on weekends. Providers sign up for rotations in cooperation with the other providers.
  • May participate in precepting and education for medical residents, psychiatric ARNPs, and DNPs.
  • Provide formal or informal education to the team. e.g., presenting cases, lectures, and in-services for the staff.
  • Participate in administrative activities, including meetings of the Medical Services Team and quality assurance activities.
  • Support the public mission and values of KMHS, offering hope and opportunity for people of all ages through comprehensive, recovery-oriented behavioral health care.
