What You'll Do- Evaluate the effectiveness of child development activities on a daily basis and implement necessary adjustments.
- Guarantee the safety and well-being of the children at all times, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Establish and maintain regular communication with parents through informal discussions and scheduled parent-teacher conferences to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of the childcare center program by actively participating in daily activities and collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- Verify that all center policies and state regulations are strictly adhered to, maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Ensure a healthy and safe classroom environment by adhering to proper hygiene and cleanliness standards, as well as maintaining the security and safety of the children.
- Maintain a personal professional development plan to continually improve the quality of care and education provided, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information related to children, families, and staff, adhering to the highest standards of discretion and professionalism.
Requirements- Must have a High School Diploma
- Must pass annual health screening and clear a full background check
- At least 1 year of early childhood experience is preferred
- High energy and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, children, and parents to foster a cohesive team environment
- Willingness to fulfill responsibilities according to WBWP's philosophy and curriculum guidelines
- Flexibility to adapt to diverse situations that may arise
- Infant Child CPR and First Aid Certification (can be obtained after employment)
- A strong understanding of child development
