About the Role:Job Summary

The Director of IT Training & Usability provides strategic leadership for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of technology training and user experience across the health system. This role ensures digital innovations and tools are efficient, and optimized to support high-quality, safe delivery of patient care.
This leader will drive a modern, blended learning strategy, advance usability, and training delivery methods. This role will collaborate closely with clinical, revenue cycle, operational, and IT partners. A key focus of the role is ensuring technology is frontline-led, workflow aligned, and measurably impactful. The Director will establish and monitor outcomes tied to workflow efficiency, time savings, user satisfaction, and return on investments.

Minimum Job Qualifications
  • Licensure or other certifications:

  • Educational Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field

  • Minimum Experience: 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical informatics, training, or related leadership roles. Experience with Epic or comparable EHR applications.

Preferred Job Qualifications
  • Preferred Licensure or other certifications: Nursing Informatics certification

  • Preferred Educational Requirements: Master's degree (MSN, MBA, MHA, or related)
