Primary Responsibilities:
  • Partnerwith business stakeholders to understand, capture, and translatecomplex commercial and finance requirements into clear, actionablesystem specifications.
  • Supportproject coordination activities including milestone tracking, statusreporting, and cross team dependency management to keep delivery ontrack
  • Operateas an effective member of blended delivery teams, supporting end-to-endsystem changes through AbbVie's System Lifecycle (SLC) framework, frominitiation and design through testing and deployment
  • Analyzeproposed system changes and new technical opportunities; assess andclearly communicate impacts, risks, and trade-offs to both technical andnon-technical audiences
  • Performhands-on data analysis using SQL to investigate issues, validateoutputs, and deliver accurate, audience-appropriate insights across arange of business and technical stakeholders
  • Contributeto business case development for new initiatives; proactively identifyand recommend opportunities for process improvement and operationalefficiency
  • Createand maintain high-quality system documentation- including functionalspecifications, process flows, data dictionaries, and knowledge basearticles โ€” to support a robust and shared understanding of supportedapplications
  • Elicit,author, and refine agile user stories, requirements specifications,business process documentation, and solution design artifacts
  • Plan,coordinate, and execute testing activities - including systemintegration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT) - to ensuredelivered solutions meet defined business acceptance criteria
  • Ensureall delivery activities adhere to AbbVie's division and corporatecompliance standards, including change management and documentationrequirements in ServiceNow and Kneat SLC
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or equivalent role;candidates with strong relevant experience at the lower end of the rangewill be considered
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, investigation, and validation across relational data environments
  • Demonstrated SDLC experience- with working knowledge of both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow for change management, incident tracking, or IT service management workflows
  • Exceptionaldocumentation skills: ability to produce clear, structured, andwell-organized artifacts for both technical and business audiences
  • Stronganalytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record oftranslating ambiguous business needs into well-defined requirements
  • Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills- comfortablefacilitating working sessions and presenting findings to variedaudiences
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experienceworking in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences commercialenvironments, particularly in areas such as revenue management,gross-to-net, rebates, or pricing
  • Familiarity with commercial and revenue management platforms (e.g. Model N Powered by N, Kernel Open Pharma, Flex or similar)
  • Experience with reporting and analytics tools such as QlikView, Power BI, or Cognos
  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms or data lake environments (e.g., AWS, Azure)
  • Prior experience maintaining system documentation within Kneat SLC or equivalent quality/lifecycle management tools
