Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006.The PositionWee Care Corp is seeking Direct Care Workers to provide safe, respectful support to individuals with developmental disabilities as they build independence and work toward personal goals. This role exists to strengthen daily functioning, confidence, and progress through consistent, evidence-based assistance.Key responsibilities:- Provide hands-on support aligned with each individual’s plan and goals- Encourage empowerment, self-esteem, and skill development- Communicate clearly and professionally with a customer-focused approach- Maintain safety, integrity, and accurate documentation as requiredRequired qualifications/skills:- Genuine motivation to make a positive impact- Familiarity with developmental disabilities (highly valued)- Experience promoting self-esteem/advocacy (preferred)- CPR/First Aid and Article 9 training (a strong plus; classes provided)- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance and Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate (or willingness to obtain)- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportationIf you’re ready to contribute dependable, person-centered care, apply today.Shift at a GlanceDuring evening, night, and weekend shifts, you’ll review the individuals care plan and goals, recent updates or changes, plan your shift around routines and measurable goals.
