Job description

The Assistant Wedding & Event Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting weddings and various other special events. Reporting directly to the Wedding Coordinator and the Event Manager, this role involves working closely to ensure seamless event execution. The Assistant Coordinator assists with scheduling staff, venue set up & preparations, day of wedding/event execution, and guest interactions to contribute to memorable and well-organized events.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule events and coordinate timelines with team members and customers
  • Prepare venues according to event specifications and layouts
  • Serve as a guest liaison to address inquiries and ensure satisfaction
  • Provide on-site support during events to manage logistics and troubleshoot issues
  • Assist with contract review and customer communication
  • Assist with social media and other types of venue marketing to highlight current & attract new business
  • Perform administrative tasks to maintain organized event documentation

  • 1+ years experience in event coordination
