DESCRIPTION
We are currently looking for reliable Wedding/Banquet Prep Cooks to help assist us for the upcoming Wedding Season!
Our Prep Cooks are a critical link in the chain from menu to server to guest. Successful team members will be able to self-motivate and work without constant direct supervision in a fast-paced environment as part of a team near other team members. Additionally, they will assist with the line, prep food, cook menu items, re-stock as needed while maintaining a clean, food safe environment.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude and contribute to a positive team effort
  • Maintain a positive, appropriate professional appearance wearing the assigned uniform including acceptable grooming practices
  • Learn the menu including prep and presentation of all items
  • Participate in the development and execution of "special" menu items
  • Re-stock the line and prepare incoming orders in a timely fashion
  • Cool and Store food as per our designated safe food practices at the end of your shift
  • Keep the kitchen spotless throughout the day

REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience as a Banquet and/or Prep Cook preferred
  • Must be available Evenings and Weekends
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Comfortable working on their feet for the duration of their shift in an area sometimes exceeding 80 degrees
  • Successfully read tickets and accurately fill both written and spoken orders
