Job Summary
Perform administrative/secretarial tasks. Includes intermediate to advanced working knowledge of wordprocessing, creating and editing documents and spreadsheet software. Prepares reports and executive summaries. Use of internet and internal intranets to access and research information. Schedules meetings and calendar requests, answers telephones, secures travel arrangements, and maintains records management. Handles confidential information on a regular basis. Communicates and works effectively with members of work group and external customers. Promotes desired corporate image with all contacts.
Job Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks with minimal supervision including, preparing and updating reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems, making meeting arrangements
  • Assumes responsibility for maintenance and support of office and IT equipment (i.e. assisting employees with
    printer, computer, and software questions)
  • Handles confidential information on a regular basis
  • Promotes desired corporate image with all contacts
  • Proactively looks for ways to assist leaders with a focus on process improvements and daily job functions
  • The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like Microsoft Office and office equipment
  • May require after hours/weekend assistance during storm restoration work
Minimum Qualifications
  • High School Diploma, HSED, or GED
  • 5+ years Standard office products and software, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
  • 5+ years Clerical Experience

Pay Range Minimum: $24.88
Pay Range Maximum: $37.32
The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs. At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
