Job Summary

The Project Manager Federal Regulatory Affairs is primarily responsible for day-to-day implementation and management of WEC Energy Group’s NERC-compliance program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day implementation of WEC Energy Group’s NERC compliance program, supporting WEC’s culture of compliance  
  • Manage regulatory communications and serve as the day-to-day regulatory contact for WEC’s interactions with NERC and applicable Regional Entities
  • Manage and report on pending NERC-related compliance matters
  • Coordinate and lead WEC’s responses to NERC-related inquiries and compliance audits
  • Provide or coordinate appropriate education and training on NERC-related topics
  • Identify, review, and monitor NERC-related developments
  • Work with a diverse group of subject matter experts and leadership to coordinate WEC’s participation in the NERC standards development process and related policy matters
  • Support WEC’s advocacy on NERC-related issues within industry groups and before government agencies
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 years of regulatory experience to include at least 2 years of North American Electric Reliability Corporation standards (NERC) experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related subjects

End Date: 07/09/2026 

Pay Range Minimum:  $104,083.72 

Pay Range Maximum:  $156,125.32 

The pay range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position at the time of posting and may be modified in the future. The starting salary/pay within the pay range will be based on several factors, as applicable, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, travel requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and business and organizational needs.  At WEC Energy Group, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role.
