Fully Remote | 40-Hour Work Week | W2 Contract

Calculated Hire is seeking an Ecommerce Strategist to lead a high-impact digital transformation initiative for a growing organization. This is an opportunity to own the strategy and execution of a multi-phase ecommerce website redesign focused on improving customer experience, increasing conversions, enhancing SEO, and identifying AI-driven opportunities.

You'll partner closely with Product leadership, business stakeholders, and offshore development teams to drive the initiative from discovery through implementation. If you enjoy building digital experiences, solving complex problems, and working autonomously in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to connect.


What You'll Do:

  • Lead a comprehensive audit of the current ecommerce website and customer journey.
  • Develop a strategic roadmap focused on UX, SEO, conversion optimization, and digital growth.
  • Own the website redesign from discovery through implementation.
  • Improve navigation, information architecture, product search, filtering, and mobile experience.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to enhance the customer buying experience.
  • Use Google Analytics to measure website performance, customer behavior, conversion rates, and revenue impact.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes in Figma.
  • Partner with product leaders, stakeholders, and offshore development teams to execute digital initiatives.
  • Track performance metrics and continuously optimize the customer experience.


What We're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in ecommerce strategy, digital experience, UX/UI, product design, or a related field.
  • Experience leading or supporting ecommerce website redesigns.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey mapping and user-centered design.
  • Hands-on experience with Figma and Google Analytics.
  • Experience collaborating with developers to bring digital strategies to life.
  • Strong communication, organization, and project ownership skills.
  • Ability to thrive independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
