Job description

Axial1 is seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to support the planning and execution of integrated marketing initiatives across web, creative asset development, and paid media. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects move seamlessly from strategy through execution—on time, on scope, and on budget.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing website projects, creative production workflows, and digital media campaigns in a fast-paced agency or in-house marketing environment. You’ll serve as a key connector between internal teams, media partners, and clients, driving clarity, accountability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Manage end-to-end project lifecycles across website design and development, creative asset development, and paid media campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones using tools such as Monday.com.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable tasks and clear deliverables.

Web & Creative Asset Management

  • Oversee website-related projects including launches, updates, landing pages, and optimization initiatives.
  • Manage creative workflows for digital assets (display, paid social, video, email, and web), ensuring creative readiness aligns with media timelines.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure deliverables meet brand standards, technical requirements, and client expectations.

Media & Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Partner closely with media, strategy, creative, analytics, and development teams to align priorities, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Support the execution of paid media campaigns across channels such as paid search, paid social, and programmatic/display.
  • Coordinate with external vendors or partners as needed to ensure timely delivery of assets and campaigns.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for project-related communication.
  • Provide clear, consistent status updates, flag risks early, and help drive solutions to keep work on track.
  • Support the preparation of project status reports and executive-ready updates.

Process & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate project documentation including scopes, timelines, status reports, and meeting notes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, resourcing, and project management processes.
  • Support post-launch reviews and document learnings to inform future initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of project and/or account management experience in a creative agency, media agency, or internal marketing team.
  • Proven experience managing website projects and creative asset production for digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with digital media campaigns (paid search, paid social, display/programmatic, affiliate/influencer) and associated workflows.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Monday.com), AI tools such as Claude, and collaboration platforms (Google Workspace, Office 365, Slack).
  • PMP or other project management certification is a plus, but not required.
