We specialize in institutional, commercial, industrial, and multi-unit residential construction, leveraging modern technologies and progressive practices to deliver exceptional results-safely and efficiently.

We believe in the power of teamwork, taking action, building for the long term, and sharing in our collective success. We care deeply about the work we do, the people we work with, and the positive impact our projects have on communities. Guided by our core values of Safety, Accountability, and being People-Focused, we are committed to creating an environment where employees feel supported, empowered, and encouraged to grow. Our success is driven by the knowledge, dedication, and passion of our people-and we invest in their development every step of the way.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Web Development Student to join our team on a temporary full-time contract basis for a minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension. This role will play an important part in supporting the launch and ongoing development of our new corporate website.

Working closely with our marketing team, the successful candidate will assist with front-end website development, content implementation, design enhancements, testing, and optimization to help deliver a modern, user-friendly digital experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for a student pursuing studies in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Interactive Media, or a related field to gain hands-on experience working on a large-scale website project.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development, maintenance, and launch of the company's enhanced website.
  • Build and update website pages using WordPress and the Divi theme builder.
  • Develop and implement responsive front-end features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
  • Assist with website styling, layout enhancements, and user experience improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement website content, images, forms, and other digital assets.
  • Perform website testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance across multiple browsers and devices.
  • Identify and resolve front-end bugs and performance issues.
  • Support website optimization initiatives, including page speed improvements and accessibility compliance.
  • Assist with ongoing website updates and enhancements following launch.
  • Document development work and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualification Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary program in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Digital Media, or recently graduated and looking for a short-term opportunity to enhance skillset.
  • Experience working with WordPress websites.
  • Experience using the Divi theme builder.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with React and modern front-end development practices.
  • Understanding of responsive web design principles.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Here's What You'll Love

  • A collaborative, inclusive, and supportive team environment where your contributions are valued.
  • Hands-on experience working with a growing company on a variety of exciting projects.
  • Opportunities to learn from experienced professionals and receive mentorship from industry leaders.
  • Exposure to industry-leading tools, software, and technologies.
  • The chance to gain meaningful experience and make an impact from day one.
