About the Team
Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is a specialty retailer of high-quality products for the home. Rejuvenation is a design-driven brand offering lighting, hardware, furniture, and home furnishings rooted in timeless style and quality craftsmanship. The Web Merchandising team brings the Rejuvenation assortment and brand story to life online, partnering across Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, Inventory, and Site Operations to deliver an inspiring, accurate, and easy-to-shop customer experience.
About the Role
The Assistant Web Merchandiser supports the day-to-day execution and maintenance of the Rejuvenation website. This role helps ensure products, categories, content, and promotions are presented accurately and on time while using site and sales data to identify opportunities to improve product discoverability and the customer experience.
Responsibilities
  • Execute daily site merchandising updates, including product placement, category sequencing, navigation, filters, and promotional content.
  • Maintain accurate and compelling product presentation throughout the product lifecycle, from launch through clearance or discontinuation.
  • Perform regular site audits and quality assurance testing to identify and resolve product, content, pricing, linking, and customer experience issues.
  • Partner with Merchandising, Inventory, Creative, Marketing, and Site Operations to support seasonal launches, promotions, and category initiatives.
  • Support product setup and enrichment by validating product attributes, imagery, copy, swatches, and categorization.
  • Monitor site, sales, and product performance and assist with recommendations that improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion.
  • Review photography and content needs and communicate gaps to cross-functional partners.
  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and site updates using established workflow and project management tools.
  • Conduct competitive and trend research to identify relevant eCommerce merchandising best practices and customer experience opportunities.
  • Support the Web Merchandising and Site Operations teams with special projects and ad hoc business needs.

Criteria
  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, retail merchandising, site operations, or a related field.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Basic understanding of eCommerce merchandising principles, product categorization, and the online customer journey.
  • Ability to interpret basic sales and site performance data and translate findings into clear actions.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with a content management system, product information management system, or analytics platform is preferred.
  • Strong interest in home furnishings, design, and the Rejuvenation brand.
  • This role requires being onsite in the Portland Oregon office

The expected starting pay range for this position is $23/hour - $25/hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
