Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced WordPress and SEO Specialist to join our team. As a WordPress and SEO Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our clients' WordPress websites, optimizing them for search engines, and ensuring that they meet our clients' needs. You will be collaborating with our website development and account management team to execute SEO strategies that will drive traffic and increase conversions.

As a member of our team, you will be involved in a variety of projects ranging from the initial website build to ongoing site maintenance. Collaboration is at the heart of our process at BluShark Digital, so you will work closely with other departments to complete various tasks tailored to meet each client's specific needs. This means you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with our onboarding, analytics, and content teams to deliver exceptional results.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and maintaining WordPress websites, including front-end design and back-end management, using WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Optimize website structure and technical aspects for search engines to improve website ranking and visibility.
  • Website testing and quality assurance
  • Integrate WordPress websites with CRM systems to improve lead capture and tracking.
  • Managing the entire process of a website, starting from the initial design and mockup phase and ending with its launch.
  • Providing technical assistance to our clients, ranging from setting up new email addresses to establishing redirects.
