The Building and Community Development Clerk is an administrative professional position that is responsible for supporting both the Shorewood Building Department and the Community Development Department. The Building Department is responsible for permitting, inspections, and code enforcement. The Community Development Department is responsible for Economic Development, Planning and Zoning, and Communications. 


The position involves interacting with residents, developers, businesses, and professionals. It requires a high-level of organization, excellent computer skills, and the ability to jump between tasks.


The position is full time. The salary range is $55,103 - $72,323.
