How will you fit in the big picture?

At the Lawrence Plant, the Analyst Maintenance Planner coordinates technical work that supports the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of manufacturing and utility systems. This role owns assigned recurring processes, applies data and structured problem solving to moderately complex equipment issues, and partners with operators and technicians to strengthen equipment reliability and production effectiveness at Hershey, the Sweetest Place on Earth.

What will you do?
  • Plan, coordinate, and complete assigned maintenance, repair, calibration, and equipment-supportwork using approved tools, procedures, and safe work practices.
  • Own recurring preventive maintenance routes, inspections, or related work cycles, ensuring results meet established quality and performance requirements.
  • Gather and analyze equipment data, apply structured troubleshooting methods, resolve moderately complex issues within established authority, and expand when needed.
  • Support small technical and continuous-improvement initiatives by completing assigned tasks, validating changes, and documenting outcomes.
  • Maintain clear work documentation and communicate technical findings, risks, and observations to peers and leaders to support planning and corrective action.
  • Collaborate with operators, technicians, and other plant partners to coordinate work and support reliable manufacturing operations.
  • Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience in maintenance planning, industrial maintenance, equipment reliability, manufacturing technical support, or a related area.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Asset Reliability, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field preferred; equivalent relevant education and experience will be considered.
  • Ability to interpret maintenance information, select approved methods, and use data to support sound technical decisions.
  • Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, inspections, calibration, repair practices, and maintenance documentation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organization, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
