We are asking that you have a Physical Fitness Background, Preschool teaching experience, and can play the game of tennis . Genesis Health Clubs, is looking for Full Time Tennis Professionals that are passionate, hardworking, and have a great personality / attitude and who want to make a difference. If you like to work in a progressive, push yourself, and success driven environment then Genesis Health Clubs is your place. We are looking for professionals that are committed to growth, retention, and high tennis delivery standards. Genesis Health Clubs has 10 tennis clubs with a total of 76 tennis courts (indoor/outdoor), over 63 tennis professionals, who deliver diverse tennis programming that impacts a very large tennis / health-wellness audience. Each club has state of the art fitness, health and wellness - evidenced by over 60 group fitness activities and the best in training equipment. Genesis Health Clubs has a very strong Personal Training program that engages members on their personal betterment journey. Location opportunities include: Wichita, Salina, Topeka, Overland Park, Lawrence, and St. Joseph, Omaha, Lincoln.
Under the direction of the National Tennis Director and the Club - Tennis Director, the 10 and Under Tennis Professional will create and deliver a dynamic, high energy, engaging and fun program for youth ages 3-10 years old. This position will supervise all tennis professionals who work in this program area.
The 10 and Under Tennis professional will be responsible for developing (we will provide / training and support) a program, delivering the on court product, managing the scheduling and collections of fees, and supervising a growing staff.
The general roles and responsibilities of the Pre School Tennis Professional:
• Being a passionate, inspirational ambassador and advocate for little kids tennis
  • Ok - Pre School Tennis name has to change - this will be your first assignment - let's create a real fun name for this position.
    • Research and learn the programming features and on courts tools to deliver this high energy fun program.

*Maintain an on-court schedule of 35 hours per week.
• Provide private and group lessons to both young 3-10 year olds, as well as oversee lessons taught by all staff professionals.
  • Create additional programming opportunities ie. Birthday Parties, Kids Fun Days, Mommy/Daddy and me programs.
    • Responsible for the financial accountability of the program.
  • Responsible for the court playing environment from a safety and cleanliness experience.
    DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/ QUALIFICATIONS:
    • College degree strongly preferred.
    • Preschool / Physical Education experience
    • USPTA and/or PTR Certified - commitment to be certified.
    • Level of Play 3.0 or higher
