Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Mid-Level D365 F&O Developer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions. This role involves collaborating closely with the Technical Manager of D365 F&O to troubleshoot issues, design and implement solutions, and ensure high-quality code delivery. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with X++, power platform, integrations, and customization within D365 F&O, along with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning.
Key Accountabilities
  • Assist the Technical Manager in troubleshooting and debugging code within D365 F&O.
  • Contribute with developing and maintain X++ code, extensions, and integrations aligned with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with functional team members along with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards.
  • Support data ETL, reporting, and integration activities using D365 tools and APIs.
  • Document technical designs, configurations, and customizations for future reference.
  • Stay current with Microsoft updates, hotfixes, and new features in D365 F&O.
  • Provide technical support for production issues and assist in root cause analysis.

Qualifications/Requirements
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) or AX.
  • Deep functional and technical expertise in D365 F&O, particularly within Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, Planning, Forecasting, and Manufacturing modules.
  • Experience leading operational process optimization across multi-site environments (procure-to-pay, production planning, inventory control).

Technical Skills:
  • Strong proficiency in X++, Visual Studio, and D365 development frameworks.
  • Experience with extensions, customizations, and integrations (OData, REST, Data Management Framework).
  • Knowledge of ERP architecture and integrations with WMS, MES, and third-party logistics systems.
  • Understanding of SQL Server, data entities, SSRS reporting, and lifecycle tools such as Azure DevOps and LCS.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps) and Azure services for reporting, automation, and solution enhancement.
  • Extensive knowledge of MRP, ATP, demand forecasting, and related supply chain planning concepts.

The compensation range identified below are a good faith estimate of the salary expected to be paid as performed from these locations. Actual salaries may vary based on compensable factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, education and training, and other relevant business and organizational factors. Most candidates will start in the lower half of the range.
The Salary Range: $87,000 - $120,000
