The Semmes Murphey Clinic's mission is to deliver the best care for people suffering from neurological illness while advancing the field of neuroscience.
We are growing our marketing team. We are looking for a Digital Marketing Strategist to manage content across social media, websites, blogs, email marketing, and other digital channels. You will help maintain a consistent and professional brand presence across the organization, and create content for social media, the website, while participating in various marketing campaigns. You will help create engaging and educational content to promote the Semmes Murphey mission to the public. This is a full-time, onsite position.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and manage content across social media, website, blogs, newsletters, email campaigns, and other marketing platforms
  • Create, schedule, and publish social media content across multiple platforms - includes copy and graphics
  • Create digital and print marketing materials including social graphics, flyers, brochures, presentations, and event materials
  • Track and report performance metrics for social media, website content, and digital campaigns
  • Collaborate with physicians, leadership, vendors, and internal departments to support marketing initiatives and content development
  • Support marketing efforts for seminars, events, educational initiatives, and community outreach activities
  • Organize and maintain marketing assets, content calendars, and project timelines
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, social media best practices, and emerging platforms
  • Assist with planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, graphic design or related field
  • Three (3) or more years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or design
  • Experience using content creation/design software (e.g. Canva)

Preferred
  • Experience with multiple email platforms (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.)
  • Leadership experience within a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet applications, and with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Suite, Later)
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and copy-editing skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Must be able to create and manage social media, blog, and website content using social media management platforms and Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Ability to create marketing material using Canva
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to tactfully interact with all levels of an organization and the public
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage projects independently
  • Understands brand management and can maintain visual consistency across all material or content
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage workflows and prioritize demands
  • Can create content within a heavily regulated and HIPAA-compliant environment
  • Highly motivated to see projects from start to finish and complete assignments with accuracy and thoroughness
  • Can work autonomously with focus and discipline
