Job description

Join our team as an Email Marketing Coordinator and play a key role in executing and supporting our digital marketing strategies. This role is responsible for building, testing, and deploying email campaigns, as well as managing website content updates, edits, and optimizations. The ideal candidate is organized, collaborative, and has a strong eye for detail, with basic technical skills and a passion for user-friendly digital experiences. This is a remote position with a complete benefits package.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Email Marketing (Approximately 80%):

  • Build and format email campaigns using HubSpot.
  • Test emails across devices and email providers for quality assurance.
  • Seek email approval from applicable stakeholders.
  • Build, segment, and/or upload audience lists to ensure targeted email delivery.
  • Support the development of automated email workflows (e.g., nurture campaigns, lifecycle emails).
  • Schedule and send email campaigns according to the institutional communications calendar.
  • Collaborate with content creators and designers to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Track campaign performance and support basic reporting needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Website Support (Approximately 20%):

  • Execute basic website updates and content edits (e.g., copy changes, image replacements, link updates).
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure website content remains current and accurate.
  • Perform routine checks to identify and fix broken links, outdated content, and formatting issues.
  • Support the launch of new web pages and landing pages as needed.
  • Assist with SEO best practices in web content entry.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience, certifications, or demonstrated expertise in email marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp) preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, email marketing, web content management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CMS platforms.
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Experience with Mac laptops and Google Suite preferred. Must be able to work with technology
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to follow and execute specific verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
