Job description

Title: Technical Project Manager – Data & AI (In-Person Interview Required)

Duration: 4-5 Months

Location: Mounds View, MN (Onsite – 4 days/week minimum)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (Data & AI) to lead a high-impact data platform transformation initiative.

The ideal candidate will drive execution across data engineering, architecture, IT, and business teams while ensuring alignment, transparency, and delivery against scope, timeline, and quality commitments.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience managing large-scale data platform, AI, or systems integration programs.
  • Proven experience managing vendors in a SOW / fixed-deliverable model, with strong focus on accountability and outcomes.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, or Financial Services).
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present clear, actionable insights.
  • Ability to manage complex, cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
  • Must be local to Mounds View, MN or the Greater Twin Cities area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Databricks, including:
    • Medallion Architecture
    • Delta Lake
    • Data Lakehouse migrations
  • Strong understanding of data platforms and integration patterns, including:
    • Oracle (source systems)
    • Databricks (target platforms)
    • ETL / ELT pipelines
    • Event-driven architectures
  • Experience with integration tools such as:
    • Informatica IICS
    • webMethods or similar middleware
  • Experience in a medical device regulatory environment.
  • Certifications such as PMP, Agile, or equivalent.
  • Experience with enterprise PPM tools (e.g., Planisware) for project tracking and reporting.
