Job description

Area(s) of responsibility
Primary Responsibilities
  • Manage stakeholder alignment across data engineering, solutions architecture, business process owners, and IT leadership -- every function has a current, accurate picture of status, risk, and ask
  • Hold resources from Databricks and systems integration partners to contract scope, timeline, and quality commitments; catch scope creep early
  • Design and run program communication architecture: status formats, escalation paths, and meeting cadences built for the audience
  • Maintain a live risk register covering technical, organizational, and regulatory risks; ensure mitigations are tested, not just documented
  • Produce executive briefings that lead with a recommendation and close on a decision
  • Own the integrated program schedule across internal teams and external vendors

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years managing large-scale data platform or systems integration programs
  • Demonstrated vendor management experience in a SOW/fixed-deliverable model -- commercial accountability, not relationship management
  • Regulated industry experience (medical device, pharma, or financial services)
  • Executive-level communication -- concise, decision-grade, no translation required
  • Must be local to Mounds View, MN or the greater Twin Cities metro area

Preferred Qualifications
  • Databricks medallion architecture, Delta Lake, or data lakehouse migration experience
  • Data platform fluency: Oracle (source), Databricks (target), ETL/ELT and event-driven integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Informatica IICS, webMethods, or comparable integration middleware
  • Experience with a medical device regulated environment
  • PMP, Agile or equivalent certification
  • Project status updates using Planisware / enterprise PPM tool
