Job description

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Integration Suite Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise integration solutions using SAP Integration Suite on SAP BTP. This role involves working closely with architects, business analysts, SAP functional teams, application teams, and external partners to develop scalable and reliable integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications. Strong hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), iFlows, API Management, adapters, message transformations, mappings, security, monitoring, and integration troubleshooting is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop integration solutions using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), including iFlows, synchronous/asynchronous patterns, and reusable components.
  • Translate functional and technical requirements into robust integration solutions, adhering to enterprise standards.
  • Perform hands-on development with iFlows, Message Mapping, Groovy scripting, JavaScript, Content Modifier, Router, Filter, Gather, Splitter, Multicast, Exception Subprocess, Local Integration Process, ProcessDirect, Iterating Splitter, Request-Reply, JMS queues, Data Store, Value Mapping, Externalized Parameters, Secure Parameters, and Integration Content Packages.
  • Utilize SAP Integration Suite adapters such as HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, OData, SFTP, FTP, AS2, IDoc, RFC, JDBC, Mail, and AMQP/JMS.
  • Integrate SAP systems (S/4HANA, ECC, SuccessFactors, Ariba, Concur, EWM, TM) with non-SAP applications, databases, SaaS, and external partners.
  • Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs using SAP Integration Suite and manage them with SAP API Management, configuring policies like Authentication, Authorization, Rate limiting, Quota, Threat protection, IP filtering, and CORS.
  • Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, API keys, certificates, and mTLS, supporting API versioning and lifecycle management.
  • Develop complex message mappings between SAP and non-SAP systems using XML, JSON, CSV, EDI, IDoc, SOAP, and REST, including XSLT and Groovy-based transformations.
  • Develop and support B2B/EDI integrations with standards like X12, EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and AS2, including partner-specific mappings and onboarding.
  • Implement robust exception-handling frameworks, configure retries, reprocessing, alerts, and error notifications, and monitor integration flows for production issues.
  • Develop unit test scenarios, perform integration, system, regression, and performance testing, and support SIT, UAT, and production validation.
  • Support deployment of integration content across environments, work with CI/CD pipelines, follow source-control and release-management practices, and maintain technical documentation.
  • Provide L2/L3 production support, analyze and resolve integration failures, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate with various teams.

Required Skills:
  • 7+ years of enterprise integration development experience.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration (CPI).
  • Strong hands-on experience developing complex iFlows.
  • Strong knowledge of Groovy, XML, JSON, XSLT, XPath, REST, SOAP, and OData.
  • Strong experience with SAP and non-SAP integration.
  • Experience with multiple SAP Integration Suite adapters.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience with API development and API Management.
  • Experience with integration security.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps processes.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of enterprise integration development experience.
