What is a webinar?

A webinar is a live, web-based seminar or presentation that is transmitted over the internet. It allows presenters to share information, demonstrate products, or train participants in real-time, often including interactive features like Q&A sessions, polls, and chat. Webinars are widely used for professional development, marketing, education, and remote collaboration, as they enable people to attend from anywhere with an internet connection. They can be recorded for later viewing and are typically accessible through a computer or mobile device.

To overcome these, it’s important to conduct thorough technical rehearsals before the event, prepare interactive elements like polls and Q&As to boost participation, and maintain clear communication with all stakeholders. Staying organized with detailed checklists and having contingency plans for potential issues can also help ensure a smooth webinar experience.
