Job description

Description

Build something that matters for Canadian businesses.

Our Team and what we'll accomplish together

We are the Marketing & Base Management team, an entrepreneurial squad on the Enterprise and Public Business team focused on driving growth, engagement, and customer success. As our mandate evolves, we are accelerating our digital transformation.

We're looking for a Senior Content Marketing Manager who will be the strategic storyteller and brand architect of our content ecosystem. You will leverage data insights, market research, and boundless creativity to craft compelling, high-impact content that guides Canadian businesses along every stage of the buyer's journey.

You'll have the autonomy to develop our long-term content strategy, translate complex technical features into customer-centric narratives, and collaborate with agency partners to produce content that informs, inspires, and converts.

As a senior member of the Digital & Content Marketing pod, you will work closely with our digital manager to ensure our thought leadership and brand assets are optimized for maximum visibility, ranking, and performance.

What you'll do

  • Own content roadmap: You'll own the 12-18 month strategic content roadmap for our portfolio, defining how we capture audience attention, address customer pain points, and position our solutions to drive meaningful brand engagement and lead velocity
  • Lead long-term content strategy and planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive 12-18 month content roadmap aligned with key product priorities and broader business growth goals
  • Shape the audience-first narrative: Deeply understand B2B buyer personas and market research to craft highly engaging, multi-format content assets (e.g., long-form whitepapers, blogs, videos, webinars, case studies, and brochures) tailored to the buyer's journey
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration: Partner closely with Product Managers, Commercialization primes, subject matter experts, and marketing peers to identify priority solutions and translate complex technical features into simple, customer-relevant benefits
  • Orchestrate creative agencies: Manage creative agencies from briefing to final delivery, providing concise editorial feedback with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the TELUS Business brand guidelines
  • Orchestrate asset launches: Plan, schedule, and execute all new content assets and their related promotional activities. Partner with the digital marketing manager to optimize distribution channels (including SEO, AEO and paid) and ensure maximum visibility
  • Act as an AI-native marketer: Use advanced AI tools and platforms to accelerate content scaling, streamline asset variations, automate drafting workflows, and improve time-to-quality delivery across our content operations
Qualifications

What you bring

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B content marketing planning, editorial strategy, and asset creation
  • Mastery of multi-format content: Proven success owning content projects from ideation to launch across a wide variety of formats (short-form copy, long-form whitepapers, video scripts, and webinars)
  • Exceptional narrative and editing skills: Ability to translate complex product capabilities into simple, outcome-driven language that highlights how our solutions solve customer problems
  • Agency and project management expertise: Hands-on experience briefing and directing creative agencies, managing production timelines, and upholding strict brand standards
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to boost productivity, brainstorm creative hooks, scale text variations, or accelerate the content development process
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills: A collaborative problem-solver who can comfortably manage multiple stakeholder priorities and act as a champion for content excellence

Great to have

  • Experience in B2B tech, SaaS, telecom, or high-growth industries
  • Familiarity with B2B sales motions, digital acquisition funnels, and content performance metrics
  • Bilingualism (English and French)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, or a related field
