Four (4) years of experience in back-end web applications, open-source web programming languages and frameworks, emerging technologies and trends, and best development practices.
Requires the possession of a bachelor's degree in an IT related or Engineering field.
Five (5) years of experience developing technical solutions including privacy and security and standards Development.
Five (5) years of experience with Java Enterprise Edition development.
Five (5) years of experience architecting web service-based solutions with Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) and RESTful.
Four (4) years of experience with specialized software used for analyzing, developing and/or testing Web Services interfaces, such as Tec writer for Web Services, XML Developer and/or Simple Object Access Protocol UI Pro.
Five (5) years of experience within multiple, diverse technical configurations, technologies and processing environments integrating mainframe with modern technologies.
Desired Skills:
Experience with Enterprise Architecture, Medicaid Information Technology Architecture, Enterprise Services Bus technology, Service Oriented Architecture, application development, middleware, servers and storage, database management and operations.
Experience developing and maintaining applications using Database 2 for operating system 390 (DB2 for OS/390) with Java 2 Platform, Enterprise Edition Java eight (8) stack.
Experience with one or more of the following systems: Medical Eligibility Data System, the Statewide Client Index, California Medicaid Management Information System, Child Health and Disability Prevention.
