Bravera Wealth is hiring for a Wealth Operations Associate in Bismarck, ND. Bravera is an employee- and director-owned company that is committed to helping our employees forge a new path in their career. This position is responsible for performing various duties relating to the processing and administration of retirement plan services accounts, including balancing reports, processing client company payrolls, handling disbursements, and preparing periodic statements. Day-to-day activities will require direction and supervision from the Operations Manager and other Retirement Plan Advisors. Will aid in the communication between departments, offices and Subsidiaries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Responsible for understanding and acting in accordance with the legal responsibilities of a Fiduciary.
  2. Responsible for operations and maintenance of the retirement plan services participant record-keeping system (Relius) for Bravera Wealth. This position requires constant monitoring of the daily activity involving fiduciary accounts.
  3. Input of employee contribution/distribution data, and production of client/participant statements on the Relius system.
  4. Process periodic payroll information for the Company retirement plan services' clients.
  5. Monitor and reconcile the daily transactions and assist with daily balancing.
  6. Preparation of various reports by account, plan, and/or Company, as requested by Retirement Plan Advisor or Management.
  7. Answering questions/inquiries from Bravera Wealth clients and service providers under the supervision of the Wealth Operations Manager.
  8. Balance various statements and securities by location, as needed.
  9. Maintain participant and plan sponsor web-set up and process daily web activity.
  10. Assist the Wealth Operations Manager with year-end plan reports, as needed.
  11. Knowing and following current Bravera Wealth policies and procedures.
  12. Responsible for promoting teamwork and open communication among all functions of the Holding Company and with Subsidiaries.
  13. Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
  14. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
  15. The employee will adhere to all trust rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.
  16. Will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under American's vehicle insurance provider.
  17. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: HS diploma or equivalence with 2-4 years of post-secondary education preferred;
  • Experience: Applicable job experience of less than five years in wealth department operations with accounting background.
  • Must be self-motivated and use initiative.
  • Strong communication skills and effective listening skills.
  • Close attention to details and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with numbers accurately and attentively.
  • Knowledge of general accounting/bookkeeping principles along with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary.
  • Knowledge of retirement plan services administration preferred.
