Job description

Position Summary

Design and implement tailored solutions such as scale inhibitors, corrosion inhibitors, water treatments, paraffin control, and acid stimulation to enhance productivity and build strong supplier partnerships. As an Account Manager II, this entails high level of responsibility, including managing key accounts, ensuring consistent, high-quality service and solutions, and leading personnel.

Essential Functions
  • Manage day-to-day operations for assigned accounts to ensure consistent service and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain working knowledge of product lines, applications, and equipment and their impact on chemical treatment programs.
  • Provide sound technical advice and product recommendations through exercise of discretion and independent judgment to customers based on their operational requirements.
  • Routinely collect oilfield samples and analyze data to present to customers.
  • Build and sustain relationships with both current and potential customers.
  • Deliver high-quality customer service by proactively troubleshooting issues, resolving concerns, managing financial and technical portfolios, and communicating wellsite performance updates.
  • Oversight and management of personnel, providing feedback, conducting reviews, and delegating field tasks.
  • Always maintain and promote the highest standard of safety.
  • Work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, predictable attendance as required by the position.
Qualifications
  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of four years of oilfield sales experience is preferred.
  • Forklift certification is preferred.
  • A valid driver’s license is required.

  • Computer Skills: Have basic computer skills. Efficiently navigate a web browser, follow online instructions, type, and use a mouse.

  • Physical Abilities: Lift and carry 50 pounds in various packaging. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds, with the use of a drum dolly.
Work Environment

Indoors, in an office environment, and outdoors, with driving involved. Employee should be prepared to work in extreme temperatures. Employee must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds, and manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude will be helpful. Frequently used safety equipment includes, but is not limited to: hardhat, safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, gloves, and an H2S Monitor as required or needed.
