Web Focus Consultant Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Job Summary:
Georgia IT, Inc. is a company seeking a Sr. Web focus Engineer. The role involves developing Web FOCUS based Business Intelligence solutions and collaborating with project teams to design and implement reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
• Demonstrated experience with developing Web FOCUS based Business Intelligence solutions.
• Demonstrated experience on IBI Web FOCUS versions 7.x AND 8.x
• Demonstrated experience with Report development, BI Portal (Dashboards) and application integration.
• Demonstrated experience of integrating Web FOCUS report components with custom developed user interfaces.
• Demonstrated experience performing Web FOCUS upgrades.
• Maintain awareness of the current product capabilities (Report Caster, MRE, BID).
• Pro-actively suggest improvements/utilization of Web FOCUS modules for the betterment of the organization.
• Work with Project Technical Lead to determine design approach of Web FOCUS-related components. Provide options and recommend ways to best utilize Web FOCUS in the solution.
• Working knowledge of how to log/track issues with the IBI Web FOCUS support organization.
• Demonstrated experience HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery and Angular platform.
• Experience with open source libraries.
• Experience creating POCs and evaluating tools and libs.
• Represent the team in Project meetings.
• Provide estimates for proposed new work.
• Work closely with project teams and other Web FOCUS developers to design and develop reporting solutions that best satisfy business requirements.
• Educate project team members on the capabilities / features of the Web FOCUS reporting application.
• Effectively communicate information and issues to all key technology and business partners.
• Develop standards and best practices for Web FOCUS report development and code reviews.
• Highly self-motivated, results oriented, with an ability to work in a fast paced and geographically distributed project team.
• Participate in production support and troubleshooting activities for production reporting applications.
Qualifications:
Required:

• 4+ years of experience with Web FOCUS v.7x AND v.8x
• 4+ years of experience with UI development
• 8+ years total work experience
• 3+ experience with SQL, PL/SQL
• Experience integrating with web services and stored procedures
• Well versed in database technologies
• Demonstrated ability to balance priorities and simultaneous projects
• Strong judgment, issues management, excellent trouble-shooting abilities
• Highly organized, ability to coordinate activities across groups
• Excellent verbal/writing/listening skills
• Ability to effectively communicate within the team and across groups.
• Strong customer focus with world class customer service skills
• Pro-active, recommends process improvements
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Preferred:
• Experience with Java technologies is desired.
• B.S. in a computer-related field is preferred.
• jQuery, Angular 5 (desirable), HTML5, CSS3
