What you will enjoy doing
Training
  • Assist with new hire training.
  • Execute follow-up training.
  • Implement and train employees on new procedures.
  • Ensure training procedures are followed.
  • Ensure proper training documentation is maintained.

Project Work
Support the Production Manager with projects such as:
  • Waste control.
  • Continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Real-time interaction with the production floor using MES/IT systems.

Daily Tasks
  • Check the packaging area.
  • Coordinate label printing.
  • Update and post graphs for daily production walk-throughs.
  • Ensure all devices are current, functional, and up to date.

Planning
  • Compile the daily production plan in coordination with the Planner.
  • Ensure all machine changeovers are completed in a timely manner.

Backup Responsibilities
Provide backup support for:
  • Production Manager and Production Supervisors.
  • Quality Assurance.
  • Planning.
  • Coordination of all assigned activities during periods of coverage.

Troubleshooting
  • Track and resolve production issues.
  • Escalate critical process issues to the Production Manager.

Performance Measurements
  • Achievement of production goals.
  • Employees consistently following established procedures.
  • Meeting project deadlines.
  • High acceptance rate of the Notes System.
  • All devices remain connected and meet Regional OPEX/IT standards.
  • Proper documentation of production issues.

What Makes You Great
Education & Experience
  • Minimum High School Diploma required; four-year degree preferred.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastics industry.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing and IT.
  • Strong knowledge-sharing and training skills.
