Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer (Frontend) to join our intel team.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:  

  • TS/SCI with Full Scope polygraph is required
  • Eight (8) or more years of experience with the following web application and/or front-end languages and technologies plus a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required
  • OR Twelve (12) years of development experience may be substituted for candidates without a qualifying bachelor’s degree.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

  • Experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining web applications
  • Experience developing user-accessible web interfaces using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience working with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
  • Experience developing applications that interface with REST-based APIs or web services
  • Experience working through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
  • Experience troubleshooting and resolving software defects and performance issues
  • Experience integrating new web components with existing applications and services
  • Experience developing or maintaining technical documentation related to software systems
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Experience using Jira and Confluence or similar collaboration and issue-tracking tools
  • Experience ensuring developed software meets 508 accessibility compliance standards
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance web-based software solutions that support mission-critical intelligence applications
  • Build intuitive, user-friendly web interfaces that enable analysts to capture, organize, visualize, and share data across the Intelligence Community
  • Analyze user requirements and translate them into software design, performance, and usability requirements
  • Collaborate with engineers, UX/UI designers, and mission stakeholders to develop scalable and responsive web applications
  • Develop and maintain front-end components using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
  • Integrate web applications with REST-based APIs and backend services to support data-driven mission capabilities
