Amazon Web Services (AWS) are seeking Logistics Specialists as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP). This position requires the successful candidate report to a site location. Amazon has multiple WBLP trainee openings between June and December of 2026.
All physical requirements are expected with reasonable accommodations:
Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds
Ability to work in an environment that operates 24/7 with an ability to participate in primary responder rotation and provide after-hours support as needed
Working in cramped and/or elevated and/or noisy environments
Bending, lifting, stretching, reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day
Ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely and without limitation
NOTE: Amazon is not able to provide sponsorship now or in the future for these positions

Key job responsibilities
Vendor and team communication including data entry, coordinating with suppliers, and resolving inquiries from cross-functional teams
* Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated and ready for processing
* Assembling, addressing, stamping and arranging for the shipment of merchandise and materials
* Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations
* Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of company is required
* Traveling with personal vehicle within the regional work area is required.
* Successfully completing the 12-month Work Based Learning Program training curriculum, including all required safety certifications, technical competencies, and performance mile
A day in the life
The Logistics Specialist reviews Data Center inventory, in-bound shipments, and ongoing demand to ensure that proper stock levels are maintained in the all locations to support build and repair activities

Working with the Logistics Manager, you will create plans to optimize the flow of parts through their lifecycle; tracking inventory location, movement, age, and turns. You will work closely with Data Center Operations Technicians and Data Center Engineers to fulfill parts quickly and accurately. You will also work with Procurement and Hardware Engineering to purchase new parts and interface directly with vendors to process RMAs and receive replacements.

Regular and ongoing communications with vendors to resolve issues and help them understand our business requirements necessitates a high-level communicator.
In addition, Logistics Specialists are expected to understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (i.e forklift or cherry picker).
All candidates should be willing to work both independently and with a team. Work prioritization, organization skills, effective communication, and the ability to react quickly are critical to being successful.
You will be required to work shift work that will include days/nights/weekends/holidays. Traveling within the regional work area is required

You will be responsible for having a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver's license to travel within the regional work area, as company transportation will not be provided.
