J5 Consulting is a Maryland based company established in 2006 to provide computing and consulting services for government and commercial entities. Our services improve Information System networking performance and compliance and protect electronic assets from loss and compromise. This position is available immediately.

Job Overview:

Candidate will provide web development support for the ground up development, build and continuous management, and maintenance of a WordPress-based website to include updating educational and outreach content, creating and managing comment capability, uploading and managing video content, and creating and managing sections for administrative functions of the office, including shared calendar administration.
Required skills and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated experience using WordPress.
  • Demonstrated experience in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated experience using open source software.
  • Demonstrated experience using content management systems.
  • Demonstrated experience writing workflows to include changing security permissions using workflow commands.
  • Demonstrated experience building customized reports, forms, and new features.
  • Demonstrated experience configuring and administering search, configuring site collections, and developing new content types in WordPress and SharePoint.

Highly desired skills and demonstrated experience:

  • Demonstrated experience with web application development.
  • Certification as a SharePoint Administrator.

Security Clearance:

  • The successful candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Security Clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph.
  • Clearance Verification: This position requires successful verification of the stated security clearance to meet federal government customer requirements. You will be asked to provide clearance verification information prior to an offer of employment.

Travel:

  • This position is expected to be onsite. The position will be located within the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA).ย 
  • Local travel/POV will be on an as needed basis, within the local place of performance.
