Job description

AdvancedMD
AdvancedMD is a unified cloud suite of medical office software hosted on Amazon Web Services/AWS including practice management, electronic health records, and patient engagement, and offers managed medical billing services for independent practices. AdvancedMD serves an expansive national footprint of 65,000 practitioners across 14,000 practices and 900 independent medical billing companies. 8.8M insurance claims are processed every month on the AdvancedMD billing platform!
Role Summary
Are you the person who can turn a stack of product updates into content Sales and CS actually reach for mid-call? We're looking for a Sales Enablement Content Specialist to own the content that equips Sales and Customer Success teams to represent AdvancedMD's evolving products to clients accurately and confidently. In this role, you'll partner directly with Sales and CS stakeholders to understand what they need to have a great client conversation, then produce and maintain the content that gets them there; in whatever format actually gets used. Success here isn't measured by how much content you ship or how many people complete a training; it's measured by whether internal teams pick up what you built and rely on it in real client conversations.
If you're someone who cares as much about whether content gets used as whether it gets made, and you're energized by owning something end-to-end, from first conversation with a stakeholder through retirement of outdated material, we'd love to meet you.
Essential Job Duties:
Content Needs & Production:
  • Partner directly with Sales and CS stakeholders to confirm what internal teams need to represent products to clients, including whether the ask calls for a benefits-forward, quick-reference, or in-depth format - or more than one of these
  • Produce content that matches how the audience will actually use it; format and depth are chosen based on stakeholder need, not standardized by default
  • Create content across multiple formats as the need requires: video, one-pagers, talk tracks/slide decks, quick-reference guides, case studies, and infographics

Content Lifecycle & Adoption:
  • Own the full lifecycle of content, from creation through distribution to retirement - not just initial production
  • Own adoption as the defining success metric: track whether content is being used as-is, gather feedback, and retire or rework content that isn't landing
  • Maintain a single, accessible source of current content with clear ownership and version control, and proactively notify Sales/CS stakeholders when content is updated or changes

Cross-Functional Partnership:
  • Partner with Product Marketing to ensure content reflects current messaging and positioning of relevant product solutions
  • Translate technical product detail into something client-facing that Sales or CS can confidently use in conversation, working directly with subject matter experts as needed

What You'll Need to Get the Job Done:
  • BS/BA Degree preferred
  • Experience creating content for internal stakeholder audiences that effectively delivers on what those teams need to successfully support clients
  • Comfort partnering directly with subject matter experts and cross-functional stakeholders to translate technical product detail into something client-facing that Sales or CS can use in conversation
  • Required comfort creating several formats of sales enablement or CS content: video, one-pagers, talk tracks/slide decks, quick-reference guides, case studies, and infographics

What Will Make us LOVE You
  • Experience in healthcare technology, EHR, or another regulated-industry SaaS environment
  • Prior experience in sales enablement, product marketing, or a similar client-facing content role
  • A track record of retiring or reworking content based on real usage data and field feedback, not just producing new material on request
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - able to take a vague stakeholder ask ("Sales needs something for this launch") and turn it into the right format without a lot of hand-holding
  • Range - equally comfortable scripting a short training video as writing a sharp, client-ready one-pager, and knows which format a given moment calls for

Life at AdvancedMD: The BURST Way to Be - Learn more about our Company culture.

  • Urgency with Purpose - We move fast on what matters and deliver meaningful results.
  • Respect Always - We lead with integrity, value every voice, and build each other up.
  • Strive for Greatness - We set high standards, embrace innovation, and never stop improving.
