Job description

Content Editor
RC Willey is seeking a Full-time Content Editor to join our Ecommerce team. This is an in-office, hourly position that gives you the flexibility to work from home up to two days per week. Your job is to make sure www.rcwilley.com maintains current product details, publish new product SKUs with images and detailed on-page copy, and work back with the merchandising team within your assigned product categories to improve the customer experience online.
Key Responsibilities
  • Work in Content Management tool to manage all aspects of product details for publication on the website
  • Respond to email requests between departments and feedback from the website requesting necessary product information updates
  • Research across the internet to find the best content possible for products you support
  • Navigate Microsoft SharePoint for resources shared by the team, management, and other departments
  • Audit previously edited products in your assigned categories
  • Competitive research to improve content editing processes
  • All other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications
  • HS Diploma required
  • Excellent time-management skills surrounding data entry tasks
  • Skilled at multitasking, enjoys change and can work in a team environment
  • Experience in managing multiple projects at one time and enjoys achieving deadlines
  • Be a problem solver with strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills
  • Have a growth-oriented mindset to assist in bettering processes

Helpful but Not Required
  • 2+ years of experience in retail, technology, or online sales preferred
  • Typing speed of 55 WPM preferred
  • Knowledge of website technologies and proficiency with online searches
  • Experience with Monday.com or other project management tools
  • Understanding of website best practices to ensure accurate product descriptions
