Digital Merchandising Specialist – eCommerce

Location: Bolingbrook, IL
Duration: 6 Months
Hours: 30 hours per week
Pay Rate: $23.00/hour
Work Environment: Hybrid (6 days onsite per month)

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Merchandising Specialist to support eCommerce operations by managing product content, maintaining brand consistency, and optimizing the online customer experience.

The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams and brand partners to ensure product information is accurate, complete, engaging, and ready for online publication.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and manage product content, including copy, images, videos, attributes, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with category managers and brand teams to maintain accurate product information.
  • Ensure products are properly categorized according to current taxonomy standards.
  • Apply content style guidelines to maintain consistency across digital channels.
  • Optimize product content using SEO best practices, including keywords and meta descriptions.
  • Create, update, and manage product listings through eCommerce platforms.
  • Identify and resolve customer-facing product content issues.
  • Support product launches, content updates, and go-live activities.
  • Maintain product information accuracy throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure content is completed according to launch schedules.
  • Build effective relationships with cross-functional teams and business partners.
  • Perform quality checks on product content and identify data inconsistencies.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of eCommerce or digital merchandising experience preferred.
