Job Summary:
Compu-Vision Consulting Inc. is collaborating with Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), the nation's largest municipally owned natural gas utility. They are seeking a highly advanced OpenText / NetIQ Infrastructure Engineer to support critical enterprise authentication, identity management, and infrastructure systems while also providing engineering support across OpenText and NetIQ technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Support, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise OpenText and NetIQ environments
• Administer and support: eDirectory, Identity Manager (IDM), Open Enterprise Server (OES), NetIQ Access Manager (NAM), iPrint, Secure Single Sign-On (SSO), Privileged User Manager (PUM), Filr Standard, Self-Service Password Reset
• Perform upgrades, patching, configuration management, and issue remediation
• Troubleshoot authentication, identity synchronization, access management, directory replication, and infrastructure integration issues
• Support secure identity and access management operations across enterprise environments
• Assist with platform modernization and long-term infrastructure stability initiatives
• Support Microsoft Windows Server enterprise environments
• Support Microsoft Azure infrastructure and hybrid cloud integrations
• Troubleshoot server, Active Directory, infrastructure connectivity, authentication, and Azure-related issues
• Assist with Azure administration, maintenance, and operational support
• Support enterprise infrastructure integrations between OpenText/NetIQ and Microsoft technologies
• Participate in infrastructure hardening, security remediation, and compliance initiatives
• Create and maintain highly detailed infrastructure documentation
• Develop: Systems diagrams, Infrastructure architecture documentation, Disaster recovery documentation, Support runbooks, Operational procedures, Audit documentation
• Participate in architecture reviews and infrastructure assessments
• Support proof-of-concept (POC) efforts and technology evaluations
• Contribute recommendations for operational improvements and modernization initiatives
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and escalation point for OpenText and NetIQ technologies
• Provide knowledge transfer and cross-training to internal infrastructure teams
• Support mentoring and technical guidance for other IS team members
• Collaborate with server, cloud, security, and infrastructure teams
• Participate in troubleshooting bridge calls and operational incidents
• Support production-critical systems in a high-availability enterprise utility environment
• Participate in after-hours and off-hours support activities as required
• Support production incidents, maintenance windows, upgrades, and emergency troubleshooting
• Maintain operational readiness and strong response times
• Assist with long-term infrastructure support continuity planning
Qualifications:
Required:
• 7+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience
• 7+ years supporting OpenText / NetIQ enterprise platforms
• Strong experience supporting eDirectory
• Strong experience supporting IDM
• Strong experience supporting OES
• Strong experience supporting NAM
• Strong experience supporting iPrint
• Strong experience supporting SSO
• Strong experience supporting PUM
• Strong experience supporting Filr
• Strong experience supporting Self-Service Password Reset
• Strong experience supporting Zenworks
• 7+ years supporting Windows Server enterprise environments
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Azure environments
• Experience supporting hybrid enterprise infrastructure environments
• Experience troubleshooting complex enterprise identity and authentication systems
• Experience with enterprise infrastructure documentation and disaster recovery planning
Preferred:
• Experience working in highly regulated or mission-critical environments
• Experience supporting utility, government, healthcare, financial, or large enterprise environments
