Job description

The Christ Place Marketing & Communications Director provides leadership over all marketing, branding, and communication efforts across the church, ensuring clear, compelling, and culturally relevant messaging that advances the mission of Christ Place Church. This strategic and creative leader oversees weekend communications, digital engagement, and ministry support systems while cultivating a unified voice across all campuses. Through collaboration, innovation, and executional excellence, this role helps people take their next step in a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Job Responsibilities Ministry Oversight
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for all marketing and communication strategies across the church
  • Ensure all messaging reflects the mission, vision, and values of Christ Place Church
  • Oversee the planning and execution of weekend communication elements (slides, announcements, email, social media, and web)
  • Maintain consistency, clarity, and excellence across all communication platforms (digital, print, and in-person)
  • Lead the development and execution of communication plans for major campaigns and events (Easter, Christmas, sermon series, etc.)
  • Ensure all content is current, culturally relevant, and aligned with the church’s voice
  • Oversee creative direction including design, video, branding, and storytelling
  • Maintain high standards of production value across all communication channels
  • Manage communication systems, workflows, and project timelines effectively
  • Lead and supervise departmental staff and contractors
  • Manage and steward the marketing and communications budget
Digital Presence & Engagement
  • Oversee all digital platforms including website, social media, email, and video channels
  • Ensure the website is current, user-friendly, and optimized for guests and engagement
  • Lead the creation and distribution of engaging digital content (video, social, campaigns)
  • Oversee and execute digital marketing strategies including paid advertising and campaign optimization

Church and Multi-Site Ministry
  • Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders to support communication needs across all campuses
  • Ensure alignment of messaging and branding across multi-site environments
  • Provide communication strategies and support for church-wide initiatives and events
  • Equip ministries with tools, systems, and guidance to communicate effectively
  • Maintain strong cross-department collaboration to support overall ministry effectiveness
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications: Required
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic communication and marketing plans
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred
