Job description

Duties: 
  1. Under the supervision of the Manager, Digital Experience, support the overall objectives of the Joni and Friends Marketing department. Perform duties and responsibilities including, but not limited to:
  2. Coordinate website content development
    1. Execute planning for digital content and calendars within Asana
    2. Coordinate the creation, publishing, and upkeep of blog content and devotionals in WordPress
    3. Strategize and develop CTAs across website pages in coordination with user journey goals
    4. Assist with the development of additional webpages as required
  3. Coordinate process for web events
    1. Administrate incoming web event requests, ensuring accuracy of event information and adherence to Joni and Friends brand and communications standards
    2. Serve as point of contact for web event listings; communicate with requestees to understand needs and coordinate revisions
    3. Create web event tasks, event pages, fundraising pages, and other collateral as requested
    4. Coordinate content for online event pages, autoresponders, peer-to-peer fundraising, and registrations within GoFundMe Pro, Asana, and WordPress
    5. Serve as Marketing lead in responding to event and fundraising page-related service tickets
    6. Provide event page and fundraising page reporting to management and vendors as requested
    7. Optimize the event process and automations in Asana templates based on feedback and results
    8. Optimize web event and donation page layout based on feedback and results
  4. Platform and project coordination
    1. Collaborate with the Digital Experience team to review, prioritize, and assign requests
    2. Integrate with teams across the ministry to ensure seamless connections between Salesforce, GoFundMe Pro, WordPress, Asana, and other ministry platforms as needed
    3. Provide troubleshooting solutions for digital platforms; collaborate with teams to identify improvements so that constituent needs are met across platforms
    4. Connect all web events to related projects/requests within Asana for team visibility
    5. Provide service-minded communications with all external and internal teams
  5. Assist with additional web projects, donation pages, and other team projects as required
  6. Other duties and projects as assigned by supervisor to support department and organizational needs
Qualifications: 
  • Must possess a vibrant personal relationship with Jesus Christ and agree with the Joni and Friends statement of faith
  • Desire to serve in a growing and dynamic Christian service ministry
  • 2+ years of marketing, product, or communications experience, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Service-minded attitude and communication with strong problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to accuracy, with the ability to effectively organize and prioritize a wide range of daily tasks with varied deadlines; strong sense of confidentiality
  • Proficiency in MSO365, Asana, Salesforce, WordPress, and GoFundMe Pro
  • Understanding of Christian ministry and specifically Joni and Friends is desirable
Physical Requirements:
This position primarily involves sedentary work in an office setting. The employee must be able to sit for extended periods, operate a computer and other standard office equipment, communicate clearly in person and over the phone, and occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach files and supplies. The role may also require occasionally lifting or carrying items up to 20 pounds.
Work is performed in a professional office setting with occasional movement throughout the facility. The environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level, with standard lighting and temperature conditions. Employees are expected to maintain safety and ergonomic awareness while performing all tasks.

Compensation is $23.50 - $26.00 per hour. This is a hybrid position. In office: Monday Tuesday, and Thursday. Remote: Wednesday and Friday.
