Job Description

We're looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join our team and help bring data to life across our clients' digital experiences. In this role, you won't just report numbers - you'll interrogate them, asking why a metric moved, what it means for the business, and what we should do about it.

You'll support the implementation and optimization of web analytics solutions using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), turning data into insights that drive smarter decisions. You'll monitor performance, uncover trends, and deliver meaningful recommendations on both a regular and ad-hoc basis. As you do so, you'll ensure your data is accurate and reliable, while taking a strategic approach to uncover opportunities that drive the business forward.

Responsibilities
  • Provide technical expertise on Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and other relevant digital analytics platforms.
  • Design and implement detailed tracking and tagging plans, partnering with development teams to ensure accurate and comprehensive tracking of user behaviour across client web properties.
  • Contribute to a range of analytics initiatives; including report automation, analytics tagging, data visualization, requirements gathering and documentation, and ad hoc analysis, proactively surfacing the "so what" behind the data
  • Assist in developing KPIs and measurement frameworks aligned to business objectives, asking the right questions during requirements gathering to ensure we're measuring what matters
  • Identify opportunities to improve how we collect, integrate, and analyze data
  • Generate routine reporting, scorecards, and interactive dashboards (including weekly, monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc requests), while actively identifying & sharing key insights from the data
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams across the organization and contribute to client-facing communication that builds strong, trusted relationships

  • Feel uncomfortable presenting data without having a point of view on what it means
  • Get a thrill from untangling confusing datasets or spotting new trends

You'll succeed in this role if you:

  • Have exceptional time management skills & can juggle multiple priorities effectively
  • Are proactive, hard-working, and excited by digital possibilities, finding smart solutions to deliver results
  • Set high quality standards for yourself and care about getting the details right
  • Are accountable, and do what it takes to deliver on your commitments
  • Welcome feedback & continuously look for ways to grow

Qualifications:

  • 1+year(s) of hands-on experience using Google Analytics 4
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Proficient in MS Excel for data analysis
  • Ability to design and build dashboards in Tableau, Looker Studio, PowerBI, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ideal candidate should feel comfortable presenting and participating in group discussions involving both internal stakeholders and clients
  • Experience using Google Tag Manager and BigQuery is a plus
