Overview
Manager - Digital Analytics
The Digital Analytics team is responsible for helping the ecommerce organization make data-driven business decisions. The Digital Analytics team plays a critical role in helping cross functional partners understand the drivers of site performance while providing actionable insights to drive future strategy across online merchandising, web product management and desktop and mobile shopping experience.
The Manager, Digital Analytics is responsible for using multiple business intelligence systems to support digital merchandising, marketing, and ecommerce operations teams mine data and make conclusions on key performance indicators. S/he will contribute to the company's broader vision to move to a customer-centric approach to ecommerce retailing. S/he will be responsible for evolving high-level strategic direction into actions. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert of funnel analytics and customer journey mapping within the Adobe Analytics/CJA platform. S/he is comfortable with ambiguity and able to provide insightful and actionable recommendations that change the business. S/he can manage ad-hoc analysis requests, generate insights by diving deeper into data, communicate the findings to the organization and influence various stakeholders and leadership.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Serve as a SME in digital analytics spanning Web, Mobile, Social, Email and Media
• Mentor team-members and develop a strong foundation of data-driven decision making within the team
• Utilize Google/Adobe Analytics, Tableau and Snowflake to automate reporting & insights
• Propose and undertake A/B tests for driving UI recommendations
• Provide insights and actionable recommendations that drive site experience and optimize other KPI's
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders to understand their needs, translate business requirements into data requirements, and provide them reporting and analytics support
• Collaborate with the e-commerce, merchandizing, marketing, and analytics teams in the design and measurement of all initiatives
• Identify key metrics and tracking requirements for all digital commerce channels, including website, email/push, and mobile apps.
• Deliver proactive insights to drive business using clear storytelling and be a proponent of data-oriented decision making
• Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources using cloud data warehouse platforms to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization and growth in digital sales revenue.
• Manage the company's digital analytics tools and ensures accurate tracking and data collection.
Core Competencies & Accomplishments:
• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Computer Science, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance (Master's degree preferred)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience using Google/Adobe Analytics, SQL and Tableau
• 3+ years of experience leading a digital analytics team
• Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audience
• In-depth understanding of common web/e-commerce metrics and definitions
• Demonstrates an ability to think outside the box and take initiative upon themselves to solve problems as they arise
• Excellent communication and oral presentation skills
• Experience in retail and/or e-commerce highly preferred
Pay Range
USD $81,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
