Job description

Product Manager

Project Information:

The team is working on web products for a content management system and booking. Experience with SHR for booking is highly valued, but experience with any booking engine is also significant. Less emphasis is placed on casino-based experience. The focus is on hotel booking and any events, airlines, or similar processes.

This person will be working on an existing product. They are responsible for the vision, release, profit/loss, and market share growth. They will deliver against a mix of requests and identify ways to drive metrics growth and retention.

The team uses a mix of agile frameworks. One development team focuses on content for the CMS and is more agile. The booking engine team works on large features and uses agile at scale. Agile experience is a must, but flexibility is needed as they are not a true agile shop yet.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day responsibilities include managing the product roadmap for the website, gathering requirements through business stakeholders or data analytics, and translating requirements into specifications for types of cap.

This person will regularly interact with product managers, UX developers, the head of development, and QA. They are not directly responsible for managing any individuals or teams but will be responsible for the product backlog.

Requirements:

Top required skills/technologies include Sitecore for CMS, SHR for booking, and analytics/AB testing tools.

The individual needs a working knowledge of web development processes and technologies. A PM/functional type background is always helpful, but a technical background is not required. Experience working with databases and different systems is important, especially for booking processes.

Specific industry experience in the hotel and hospitality world, particularly in F&B and casino, is preferred but not mandatory.

Key personality traits include a problem-solving mindset, strength of character to guide people, understanding of user problems, leadership, and humbleness.
