Description
Summary:
Position provides the first point of contact for all incoming calls to Shrader Tire & Oil (STO). Candidate must maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to "do whatever it takes" to ensure our customers' experience is the best it can be. Candidate should possess ability to make clear and direct decisions that positively impact efficiency, and the customer experience.
Duties:
  • Provides first point of contact for all incoming calls to STO. Will answer, transfer calls, or take messages in a professional manner.
  • Processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provides pricing, delivery information and processes orders.
  • Work cockpit report to ensure old orders, transfers, and PO's are closed.
  • Managing incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Also processing invoices, work orders, transfers, and national account paperwork for tire service.
  • Maintaining customer furnished forms, 3rd party billing.
  • Receive inventory, create purchase orders and transfers.
Position Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Phone etiquette required.
  • Strong background with Microsoft office products, especially Microsoft excel, web-based applications and electronic data storage. Any database/ODBC experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in customer service environment, including order entry and customer interaction.
  • Prior experience with inventory, physicals, audits, invoicing, pricing, and transfers would be beneficial.
  • The highest degree of confidentiality is required for this position.
