Job description

The incumbent serves as an Engineering Technician in the Propulsion, Launchers, and Weapons Systems Branch of the In-Service Submarine Systems Engineering Division (SUB-E57) in TEAM SUBMARINE at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C.Qualifications:Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band, NJ-03 (or GS-11 equivalency), in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector as an Engineering Technician applying engineering principles, techniques and methods, to troubleshoot and determine operating problems and correct deficiencies, modify and improve test systems requirements and equipment for a submarine or undersea research and development weapons system.
