Job description

Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time CIWS Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Summary: Under minimal supervision, the employee provides direct technical support aboard ships of the U.S. Navy weapons systems.
Duties and Responsibilities:
oDirect, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
o MK45 MOD 2
o MK45 MOD 4
o MK38 MOD 2
o MK38 MOD 3
o MK110 Gun Mounts
o MK46
o Small Arms
o Night Vision Devices
o Crew Served Weapons and Mounts
o Magazine Sprinkler Systems (Legacy)
o Magazine Sprinkler Systems (Fairmont, Consilium, FDAS)
• Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance
  • 10+ years of related experience with MK45 MOD2 or MK45 MOD4
  • Navy Gunner's Mate "A" School graduate
  • Navy 5"/54 MK45 MOD2 "C" School or Navy 5"/54 MK45 MOD4 "C" School graduate
  • Advanced knowledge and proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining associated systems
  • Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and procedural corrective and repair standards
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to provide technical findings orally and/or written
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.

Pay Range:
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$48.00 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting of heavy objects
Ability to go aboard ships, barges and other naval craft
Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways onboard ships
Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight
Industrial, shop environment
Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States
