We are currently seeking a Weapon SystemCyberSecurity Engineering Architectto join our Sentinelarchitectsteam.As a key technical leader, you will be on the forefront ofestablishinghowthe overall Weapon Systemcybersecurityarchitecture integrates into the overall Weapon System architecture.You'llbe deeply involved inunderstandingCustomerandstakeholdersneeds, translating theirchallengesinto current and future solutionsthat enable mission successfromarchitectureand design, through test and accreditation&certification.
The ideal candidate will be a recognized expert incybersecurity engineeringand delivered a weapon system, with extensive experience in architecting secure weapon systemsthatinclude platforms (hardware and software),networkedcommand and controlsystems, custom hardware, software/digitalimplementations,andinfrastructure management/monitoring and applications.
This role will require close collaboration withlarge and complex teams across diverse geographic regions.
What You'll GetToDo:
In this role, you willdemonstratea broad skill set balanced between interpersonal and technical capabilities, with the ability to technically lead in a team environment and collaborate across the organization and multiple core stakeholders asrequiredtoaccomplishteam goals.Strong executive presence,technicalacumenand leadershipare foundational to success in this role.Work location will be on-site at the Roy, Utah facility.
Job Responsibilities(but not limited to):
- Serve as primary Customer interface for cyber architecture and related requirements, capabilities, and translate into overall weapon system cyber architectureto ensure common cyber messaging
- Ensure weapon system cyber architecturetechnical baseline ofassociated segments/elements and interfacesmeetsand evolves tomission needs
- Develop andmaintaindeep customer relationships to translate customer problems into current and future cyber solutionsfrom architecture through test and certification
- Ownoverall Weapon System Cyber architecture visionin close collaboration with key stakeholders(e.g.domain architects& SMEs, Chief Engineers, System Thread Leads)
- IntegrateCONOPSand OPSCONand user mission needsintoweaponsystemcyberKPPs, capabilities,limitsand constraints,and associated TPMs
- Integrate core cyber competencies and capabilities into weapon system architecture
- Ensure cyber technical alignment of concurrent or other related programsand product lines
- Technical authorityoncyber related risks, threats, opportunities
- Co-chair Cyber Security Working Group with Customer
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical/science discipline with16years of relevant experience;master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical/science discipline with 14years of relevant experience; PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other technical/science discipline with 12years of relevant experience
- Demonstratedcyberexperience architecting,designing, and delivering a large-scaleand complex weapon system
- Expert levelknowledge ofWeapon System Cyber Architecture, including advanced knowledge oflarge complexplatforms (hardware and software),networkedcommand and control systems,custom hardware, software/digitalimplementations,infrastructure management/monitoringand applications for verylarge-scaledevelopment programs
- 10 years of experience inWeapon SystemCyber architectureroles oncomplexlarge scale$50M+ programsdesigning, implementing, and/oroperatingcyber security protections for weapon systemsand/or supporting mission systems and networks
- 10years'proven experience in Systems Engineering leadership rolescovering all phases of the Systems Engineering lifecycle, including delivery
- Knowledge of and/or experience with Cyber Security Risk Management Construct and/or Cyber Survivability Endorsement Implementation Guide
- Knowledge ofUSNational Defense Strategy(NDS)in regard totheUS StrategicDeterrent strategy
- Working experience withUS GovernmentCyber Developmental Test and Evaluation and/or Operational Test and Evaluation
- US Citizenship required
- A current/activeUS GovernmentSecret clearance
- The ability to obtain andmaintainaUS GovernmentTop Secret w/SCI clearance
- The ability to obtain andmaintainSAP approval
