Job description

Position Overview:

The Associate Transition Manager at NewEdge Securities is responsible for developing, delivering, and maintaining training programs related to account transitions, operational processes, and the Wealthscape platform. This role serves as a subject matter expert and training resource for advisors, operations teams, client service associates, and internal stakeholders. The trainer ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and best practices necessary to support seamless client transitions, operational efficiency, and effective utilization of Wealthscape.

Responsibilities:

Transitions Management Support

  • Assist with client onboarding, account transitions, asset transfers, and conversion processes to NewEdge Advisors and NewEdge Wealth advisors utilizing NFS for client accounts.
  • Assist advisor teams with escalation items and navigational support for advisory and brokerage needs in the Fidelity NFS and IWS systems – all aspects of account administration, custodial operation support and platform support.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy throughout transition-related processes.
  • Assist teams in managing operational risks during client and advisor transitions.

Training & Development

  • Design, develop, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced training programs.
  • Create and maintain training materials, job aids, user guides, process documentation, and reference resources.
  • Deliver onboarding and continuing education programs for new and existing employees.
  • Assess training effectiveness through evaluations, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and recommend targeted training solutions.

Wealthscape Platform Expertise

  • Serve as the primary training resource for Wealthscape functionality, navigation, workflows, and best practices.
  • Provide hands-on training related to account opening, maintenance, transfers, reporting, document management, and client service functions within Wealthscape.
  • Stay current on Wealthscape enhancements, updates, and new features and incorporate changes into training programs.
  • Partner with business leaders to ensure platform utilization aligns with operational goals and regulatory requirements.

Other Responsbilities

  • Assist advisor teams with escalation items and navigational support for advisory and brokerage needs in the Fidelity NFS and IWS systems – all aspects of account administration, custodial operation support and platform support.
  • Assist advisor teams with escalation items and navigational support internally with all NewEdge Advisors departments.
  • One of the primary points of contact for all transitions to the Broker Dealer and RIA platform.
  • Coordinate meetings, calls, paperwork and tasks related to transitions between new teams and various departments at NewEdge Advisors and NewEdge Securities.
  • Providing pre- and post-transition administrative support, onboarding new advisors and staff on broker/dealer-specific systems, training new teams with account opening process and software systems.
  • Collaborative work and project participation

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in wealth management, brokerage operations, financial services training, or a related field.
  • Experience using Wealthscape or similar wealth management platforms preferred.
  • Experience developing and delivering professional training programs.
  • Strong understanding of account transitions, operational workflows, and financial services processes.
  • Advanced knowledge of Wealthscape functionality and advisor operations.
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and virtual training tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
