Reports To: Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer

Estimated Salary: $175,000 - $200,000
About Cohen & Steers:
Cohen & Steers is a leading global investment manager specializing in real assets and alternative income, including listed and private real estate, infrastructure, natural resource equities, preferred securities and other income solutions. Founded in 1986 and headquartered in New York City, the firm has 400+ employees across New York, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Dublin and Singapore and serves institutional, wealth and individual investors around the world. Cohen & Steers was listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2004 under the ticker CNS, has approximately $100 billion in assets under management and is committed to an inclusive culture, valuing diversity in support of our people and clients.
Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer and based in New York, the Vice President, Global Wealth Marketing will partner with Sales and other business leaders to shape and advance the growth agenda for Cohen & Steers' global wealth business. This leader will bring an independent marketing perspective to the business, combining audience insight, market intelligence and campaign performance data with the client and relationship intelligence of Sales. Working in partnership with global Sales leaders, the role will shape how Cohen & Steers earns attention, advances consideration, drives product adoption and deepens client relationships.
The remit includes wirehouses, broker-dealers, RIAs, private banks, platforms, home offices, financial advisors, family offices and retirement advisors. The role is New York-based and globally accountable, leading and developing junior marketing team members while mobilizing shared expertise across Marketing, Product, Investments, Data, Operations and Compliance.
This role will be in-office four workdays per week with flexibility to work remotely one workday per week, subject to manager approval.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
  • Co-create the global wealth growth agenda with Sales leaders, translating business priorities into clear choices across audiences, markets, client journeys, channels and investment.
  • Build and continually refresh a fact-based view of wealth audiences, priority firms, advisor segments, buying and influence dynamics, needs, behaviors, barriers and competitive alternatives.
  • Design and execute integrated marketing programs that move target audiences from awareness to consideration, product adoption and deeper relationships.
  • Apply CRM data, marketing automation, personalization, testing and behavioral signals to improve campaign relevance, conversion and client experience.
  • Partner with Sales and business leaders, while bringing an independent perspective, to identify the issues, questions and market developments most relevant to wealth audiences.
  • Lead centralized activation through shared Marketing specialists, establishing clear briefs, priorities, outcomes and measures of success while adapting programs to regional market needs.
  • Lead and develop marketing team members; manage the Wealth marketing budget, agencies and resources; and ensure regulatory, compliance and brand standards are met.
  • Define and own a scorecard connecting audience growth and progression to qualified opportunities, adoption, retention, expansion and return on investment.

Minimum Requirements:
  • 10+ years of progressive B2B, B2B2C, segment, channel or growth-marketing experience in asset management, wealth management or another intermediary-led financial-services or fintech environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the financial-advisor and intermediary ecosystem, including how home offices, platforms, advisors and end investors influence consideration and adoption.
  • Demonstrated success bringing an independent audience perspective to business strategy and building productive, peer-level partnerships with Sales, Investments and other business leaders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong demand-generation experience across segmentation, digital journeys, partner marketing, CRM, marketing automation, personalization, testing and analytics.
  • Strategic and hands-on operating style, with strong business judgment and the ability to convert insight into focused priorities and measurable action.
  • Ability to manage significant volume and complexity.
  • Executive presence and influence across Distribution, Investments, Product, Compliance and senior leadership in a regulated organization.
  • Team orientation, integrity, initiative, thoroughness, resourcefulness, interest in continual learning and ability to successfully balance multiple projects.
  • Strong analytical, project management and communication skills
  • People leadership experience, including inspiring performance, professional development and accountability.
  • Bachelor's degree required (advanced degree or industry designations, a plus)
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
  • Agrees to comply with the firm's hybrid work policy ("work from home policy," as aligned with the Company's employee handbook), which currently requires reporting to the Company's New York City office four (4) days per week, with one (1) remote workday permitted.

Experience marketing investment solutions through financial advisors and intermediaries is strongly preferred. Candidates from adjacent wealth, insurance, fintech or B2B2C environments will be considered if they demonstrate deep knowledge of the advisor ecosystem. International experience is strongly preferred but not required.
