Work Environment

This position is primarily remote, allowing for a work-life balance that is essential for both you and our clients. While the majority of your work will occur online, collaboration with fellow counselors and participation in team meetings will foster a dynamic and engaging work culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to determine each clientโ€™s mental health needs using validated tools and interviews.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans that reflect individual goals and treatment preferences, regularly updating as necessary.
  • Provide individual, couple, and group therapy sessions, employing a range of therapeutic approaches suited to various diagnoses, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, social workers, and other mental health professionals to ensure holistic client care.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to legal standards and ethical guidelines to protect client privacy.
  • Participate in regular supervision, case reviews, and professional development workshops to enhance clinical skills and support best practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will span a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety-related issues, trauma, and addiction. You will be instrumental in creating a welcoming space for clients from various cultural backgrounds and socio-economic statuses, enabling them to make significant strides in their emotional and mental health through effective counseling techniques.

Qualifications
  • A valid LPCC license in California is mandatory.
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in clinical mental health counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • A demonstrated history of providing therapeutic services, with at least two years of relevant experience in a mental health setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and approaches tailored to the wide spectrum of mental health challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills effective in building therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience
