Law Mom is a growing estate planning, probate, and trust administration law firm serving families throughout Massachusetts. We are known for exceptional client care, innovative legal solutions, and a collaborative team culture focused on helping families protect what matters most.

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Estate Planning Paralegal to join our Duxbury Office.

IMPORTANT: WEALTHCOUNSEL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Applicants without direct Wealth Counsel drafting experience will not be considered.

This is not an entry-level position. We are seeking a paralegal who can immediately contribute by drafting sophisticated estate planning documents and managing files with minimal supervision.

What You'll Do: Draft Complex Estate Planning Documents.

You will draft and manage:
  • Revocable Living Trusts.
  • Wills.
  • Powers of Attorney.
  • Health Care Proxies.
  • Trust Amendments and Restatements.
  • Irrevocable Trusts.
  • Massachusetts Asset Protection Trusts (MAPTs).
  • First-Party and Third-Party Special Needs Trusts (SNTs).
  • Real Estate Deeds.
  • Trust Funding Documents.
  • Trust administration.
  • Probate.

Project Management:
  • Manage multiple estate planning matters simultaneously.
  • Coordinate workflow between attorneys, legal assistants, and clients.
  • Track deadlines and ensure files move efficiently from engagement through signing.
  • Identify potential issues before they become problems.
  • Maintain organized and accurate client records.

Quality Control:
  • Review documents for accuracy and consistency.
  • Ensure plans match attorney recommendations and engagement terms.
  • Maintain Law Mom's high standards for client service and document quality.

Required Qualifications.
MUST HAVE:
  • Minimum 2-4 years of estate planning paralegal experience.
  • Direct Wealth Counsel drafting experience (required, no exceptions).
  •  Experience drafting MAPTs.
  •  Experience drafting Special Needs Trusts (First-Party and Third-Party).
  •  Experience drafting revocable and irrevocable trusts.
  •  Strong understanding of Massachusetts estate planning concepts.
  •  Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  •  Ability to independently manage files and deadlines.
  •  Exceptional attention to detail.

Preferred:
  •  Experience with Zoho CRM.
  •  Experience preparing and recording deeds.
  •  Notary Public or willingness to become a Notary.
