We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team with a client. This role consists of managing commercial insurance accounts, ensuring that clients receive exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions that meet their unique business needs. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between clients and insurance providers, overseeing policy administration from inception through renewal while maintaining strong client relationships. This position demands a proactive individual who can effectively coordinate with underwriters, brokers, and clients to resolve issues and deliver comprehensive insurance coverage. We look for someone with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple accounts efficiently. We are looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager who embodies these qualities and strives to contribute positively to our growing client. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring accurate and timely policy administration.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, responding promptly to their inquiries and providing expert advice.
  • Coordinate with insurance carriers and underwriters to obtain quotes, endorsements, and renewals.
  • Review and interpret insurance policies, endorsements, and coverages to ensure client needs are met.
  • Assist clients with claims processing and act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers during claim resolution.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all accounts, communications, and transactions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for clients to enhance or optimize their insurance coverage.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support business development initiatives and client retention strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience managing commercial lines insurance accounts.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, including general liability, property, business auto, and workers' compensation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficient in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex insurance issues independently and efficiently.
  • Professional Property & Casualty insurance license.
