Job description

Join Our Team as an Electronics Engineer where you will work on the development of sophisticated state-of-the-art avionics products, performing and reviewing Worst Case Circuit Analyses for both in-house (make) and subcontract (buy) electronics products.
Location: This position does not support teleworking; the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in:
Sunnyvale CA
Littleton CO
You will work a flexible 9x80 schedule in the office full-time.


What does this role look like?
As an Electronics Engineer for the central circuit design group, you will join a team of subject matter experts for Worst Case Circuit Analysis (WCCA), responding to the enterprise needs of our programs as they work through their development phase. Review and analyze designs, report, and adjudicate findings to mitigate the risk in meeting end of life performance requirements of our deliverable avionics products.


Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
Independently review and approve WCCA and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis (EPSA) reports for in-house and supplier electronic circuits.
Perform WCCA and EPSA as required for Critical Design Reviews.
Serve as an avionics sub-system subject matter expert on independent review board teams.
Participate in engineering reviews, Engineering Material Review Board (EMRB) hardware discrepancy decisions, and Failure Review Board (FRB) as required.
Resolve test anomalies through troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Identify risks and opportunities to meet Mission Success objectives for Avionics subsystems.


To be effective in this role, you will need:
Experience in development phase of aerospace hardware.
Experience interacting with peers, management and government customers.
Experience in presentations and in written communication skills.
A Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
8+ years of professional experience.
While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required.
